The Site

In 2020, I stumbled upon Neocities. I already had some (very limited) experience with HTML, and finding Neocities made me very excited. I always really wanted to make my own website for the entire world to see. I was reluctant to join at the time though. So, on July 13th, 2021, I created this website, and I've been updating it ever since! It has had many variants over the years, different layouts, different names...

Me

I am Meriamelie (Pronounced "Mera-muh-lie"). My birthday is September 23rd. I first started coding on Scratch in 2016 and then later started learning HTML and CSS in 2019. I didn't touch HTML for awhile until I made my site. Over the years though, I've learned a lot and my code is slowly getting better.

Some things I like and enjoy are coding, music, history, and art. I've been drawing ever since I can remember. Though, my art still could use a lot of improvement in all honesty. Music is a big thing in life, it's pretty hard to avoid it. So, of course I wanted to make my own music. Before 2021, when I really started making music, I had garbage attempts from 2018-2020. Ever since 2021 I think I've slowly been getting better at music. I'm currently taking music classes at school. Some of the genres im into are alternative rock, alternative metal, nu metal, and a little bit of industrial metal. I like many other genres as well, I listen to almost anything. I like bands such as System Of A Down, Korn, Three Days Grace (prefer their earlier stuff), and Radiohead.

The shows I like to watch are South Park and Aqua Teen Hunger Force. I don't really play a lot of games, so I would say my favorites are Undertale and Deltarune. I do like to play Animal Jam and Chicken Smoothie constantly. I guess I can't forget Minecraft, since I have my 2 week Minecraft phase like once a year.
