Music Theory Composition / June 2, 2026

In my music theory class in school we started doing some compositions, so here's the one I did. I honestly was freaking out over whether I was doing everything right or not. You know, cuz my music is wack. I rarely ever think about music theory when I make my music, I just do whatever sounds good. The requirements for our compositions were popular chord notation, 24 measures, ABA form, non harmonic tones, good melodic structure, 4/4 or 3/4 time, using 8th notes and rests, good harmonic structure, and good melody/chordal agreement. As of writing this my teacher hasn't gone over my composition yet, so after he goes over it I'll write what he said below this paragraph.

If you haven't figured it out yet, this was a paper assignment. I just did the composition on my computer and transferred it onto paper. You can see it here.

2025

"Lemonacidic" / August 6, 2025

Gave another try at acid techno! (hours and hours later...) Making these are a lot of fun lol. Again, I put quite a bit of effort into this. It's really fun to see what loops would match and then finalizing everything... very fun!!

"Acid" / August 6, 2025

Tried making acid techno for the first time...in Garageband with loops. I will say though, I put quite a lot of effort in this. I added a LOT of panning and stuff. Although I did get lazy near the end.

"Cold Rain in the Summer" / May 21, 2025

Yes it's not summer yet, but summer is in the title anyways because I'm ready for summer!!!!! It rained today so that's where the title came from.

Made in GarageBand with loops.
2024

"By the Shoreline" / June 26, 2024

Got bored on Garageband and made this. I used loops, (of course) I never make music myself on Garageband, I just mash loops together.
2023

"Opora" / December 25, 2023

"Bittersweet" / March 2023

Garageband loops

"Sirius" / March 2023

Back at it again with the GarageBand loops B)

"Rainforest" / January 2023

Havent made a garageband song since uhhh june so heres one to start off the new year
2022

Ah, 2022...I had so much fun with my music that year.

"Soda in Spring" / September 2022

I was in music class and we were using Garageband, I had finished my assignment so I had freetime. I started a song with loops and I saved the file and uploaded it to a Google Drive, went home, downloaded it, and finished it. I was so proud of it

"Tiger Parade"

Used loops for fun

"Height of the Sky"

Used loops for fun

"Harp Melodies"

Loops

"Twisted Chords"

Loops

"Shattered Market" / May 2022

After getting a random boost of motivation out of no where, defiently my favorite garageband song so far

"The Enemy"

Testing out another older version of garageband by guess what, MESSING WITH LOOPS!! (again again again again)

"Grand Open"

"Darkest Night"

"The Clock Strikes 13"

In the title when it means how in 12 hour time there is no "13th" hour so its like a clock breaking which is why the song is so aggressive and stuff, its like another part to "Broken Time"

"Torn Town"

Loops

"Tropical Breeze" / January 2022

Loops
2021

This is my music from 2021. These are a bit better than 2020, but still kinda bad. I really started getting better towards the end of 2021.

"Howling Rage" / December 2021

Loops

"Revolving Madness"

Testing out a older version of GarageBand

"Raging Storm"

Loops

"The Light is Running Low"

First time using loops

"Lava's Rage"

The beginning part of this song is literally the exact same thing as "Cherry Mornings". All I did was make this sound agressive. "Lava" is a character of mine, this song was like, his "theme". This was made on Garageband with soundfonts.

"Cherry Mornings"

I made this in Chrome Music Lab and then messed with it in Garageband with the SNES soundfont. Should probably turn down your volume.

"Thoughtful Sights"

This was orginally my music assignment for school. The teacher had us use Chrome Music Lab. I made the song and turned it in and then messed with it in garageband and got this. Not good.

"Shattered Memories"

"Falling Stars"

"Key"

"Broken Times"

If you looked through 2022 first, you'll notice the title is familar. I guess you could say 2022 is the remake.
2020

This is my "music" from 2020. I recommend turning your volume down while listening to these, they're pretty loud and annoying. Unless you're into that, somehow.

"Critical Failure" / December 6, 2020

"Dance!" / August 27, 2020

"Creepy" / August 26, 2020

"Unsettled" / August 26, 2020

I think this is my first GarageBand song, actually not really even a song, it just sounds like weird video game ambience. It kinda sounds like something you'd hear in Minecraft in creative mode.
